Sopore : Auqaaf committe of Khankha-e-Moula Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on thursday claimed that government is giving them tough time for failed to fulfill the promise of late chief minister of state Mohammad Mufti Syed.
The president of Auqaaf committee Mohammad Shafi told Kashmir Despatch that when PDP came in power, the late chief minister of state Mohammad Mufti Syed made announcement of one crore rupees in a public gathering for the development of the Khankha-e-Moula shrine however years have gone nothing happened only fake hopes.
The president of Auqaaf committee of Khankha-e-Moula Mohammad Shafi told The Kashmir Despatch that soon after the announcement the tourism department started work and assured us to complete it as soon as possible , however the Burhan turmoil takes u-turn in valley and it also affected the work of Khankha-e-Moula shrine , and work was stopped by the concern authority the president added. He said that we were informed at that time when things will be calm in valley work of the shrine will again start , but months have gone the work on the construction of the shrine has not even started.
The administration is an art, which requires patience and seriousness and the tourism department lacks these attributes and gives us tough times instead to work said Gh Rasool member of Auqaaf Committe Khankha-e-Moula Sopore.
The Auqaaf comiitte of Khankha-e-Moula along with the group of senior residents of town while talking with Kashmir Despatch said that post burhan turmoil we again informed concern authorities for starting the pending work, but only made promises and failed to deliver.
Meanwhile the Auqaaf comiitte of Khankha-e-Moula of Sopore applealed the Chief Minister Mehooba Mufti to look into the matter and fulfil the promise of Late Mohammad Mufti Syed which he had announced for the betterment of Khankha-e-Moula Shrine.
