SRINAGAR | JULY 23 :After being thrashed by his subordinates, a Centre Reserve Police Force officer was allegedly denied permission to shift an ailing Para military trooper from his unit– the permission to be shifted to a local government hospital in Jammu and Kashmir, highly placed sources said.
The commander of CRPF was thrashed by ‘angry troopers’ after their ailing colleague died, sources said. The incident happened in South Kashmir’s Qazigund, police sources confirmed, adding: troopers angry over the death of their colleague thrashed the company commander.
The police sources said that CRPF trooper– whose identity wasn’t known– died after he was allegedly denied permission by his company commander to see a doctor in Wanpoh area of Qazigund. The deceased trooper was posted at railway station in Wanpoh.(PTK)
