Baramulla : Situation under control in kashmir Deputy General of Police (DGP) S.P. Vaid said on Wednesday during a function at District Police line Baramulla.
Deputy General of Police (DGP) S.P. Vaid told reporters that there will be no affect on ground over Hurriyat arrests, he said that things have changed despite Hurriyat’s call for a shutdown on tuesday in Jammu and Kashmir (J-K) following the arrests of the Hurriyat leaders, shutdown has not affected the Valley’s normalcy and people followed their daily
Deputy General of Police (DGP) S.P. Vaid told media reporters that we don’t have actual figure about the presence of militants in Valley as no one have counted yet but in north Kashmir foreign militants are in large numbers.
While answering the question about the public support for militants, Dr Vaid said that things have changed now people are not supporting them now as everyone wants to live a peaceful life, he said especially in north Kashmir militants are not getting support from public. He said that people should wait and watch to known the reality who is behind the Kashmir burning.
When asked about Machil fake encounter case he was not having information regarding the relief of army personnel, he however said that we will examine the case.
