Sopore : Ghalib Afzal Guroo son of alleged Parliament attack convict Mohammad Afzal Guroo Thursday passed Class 12th Board exams, with a distinction.
The J&K Board of School Education Thursday declared the result of Class 12th annual examination.
Ghalib Afzal Guru, son of Mohammad Afzal Guru who was hanged five years back, has scored an impressive 441 marks in the 12th standard examinations conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Examination.
Galib has secured distinction in science stream. He had secured distinction in his class tenth examination as well.
A Student of Shah Rasool Memorial Welkin Sopore, Ghalib credited his success to lone parent Tabassum Guru.
Tabassum Guru says he (Ghalib) wants to get an MBBS degree just like his dad.
“He always wanted me to be a doctor, rather a heart specialist and I will try my level best to fulfill his dream”, says Tabassum Guru.
Ghalib said, “It is great moment for us though my mother expected more from me. Right now I am preparing for the NEET to be held on May 7. Today again I am missing my father, who would have been happy to watch me doing well in studies.”
