Army’s 32 RR organised medical camp in Rafiabad village

Rafiabad, Sep 10 : The Army’s 32 RR ,in continuation to its efforts for Social welfare and assistance to the masses on Monday organised a Medical Camp at Shalkoot area in the upper reaches of Rafiabad in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Hundreds of people across belt who turned up at the venue benefitted from the camp organised by Army’s 32 RR in collaboration with District Hospital Baramulla as a goodwill gesture to fulfill a popular demand by the locals.

Group of Army Doctors assisted by Nursing Assistants led the camp where apart from consultation and distribution of medicines, the people were educated on lifestyle diseases and health and hygiene.

The camp witnessed a str of approximately 721 civilians who benefitted from the Medical specialists, besides 217 animals were treated as part of the medical camp.

The National Medical Mobile Unit (NMMU) was also called, it had all the latest equipments to conduct medical tests at the site which came very handy for villagers of upper reaches.

A team of Civil doctors from District Hospital Baramulla where also present and lend their services.

Besides senior Army officials, police officials including local dignitries were present on the occasion.

The locals lauded the efforts of the Rafiabad Army for genuine concern towards the AWAM and assured of all possible help and unflinching faith and bond between Army and AWAM.
