Sopore : The 11th students of Government Higher Secondary School Sopore in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday held a protest demanding deferment of their examination.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said Scores of students of class 11th students assembled at Iqbal market and shouted slogans to demand deferment of their annual exams.
The protesting students said that we won’t be able to perform well in the exams, as our syllabuss is not completed yet.
They demanded that their examination should be deferred to mid-November so that they could complete their syllabus.
Meanwhile students protest march were foiled by police by lobbed tear gas shells.
However overall situation in the town remained peaceful.
