25-year-old youth injured in leopard attack in Tangmarg

Baramulla, Sep 16 : A 25-year-old youth was injured after being attacked by a leopard in Qazipora Village of Tangmarg sub division of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday evening.

Reports reaching said that the youth identified as Showkat Ahmad Khatana son of Jaladeen Khateena resident of Qazipora village of Tangmarg was outside his home when a leopard attacked him.

The family and others, who were around, rescued him and chased away the beast with sticks and stones, they said.

The injured was shifted to nearby sub district hospital Tangmarg for treatment, they added .(GNS)
