28 employees found absent from duties in Budgam

Srinagar, May 05: Twenty Eight (28) employees of different departments were found unauthorisedly absent from their duties in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Thursday.


During a surprise attendance check of seven offices including PHE Budgam, Labour office, KPDCL Budgam, Irrigation Division Budgam, Animal Husbandry, R&B Budgam and Receiving Station, Budgam 28 employees of different ranks were found unauthorisedly absent from their duties.


The list of suspended employees includes 7 junior assistants, 8 orderlies, one superintendent, two class-IV, one draftsman, three coolies, a G-reader, an E-guard, two head assistants, a junior engineer, and a senior assistant. Out of the 28 absent employees, 8 are females.


According to an order no. ADDC/Bud/Order/105-29 dated 05-05-2022, these employees were found unauthorisedly absent from their duties which is complete dereliction and lackadaisical approach towards legitimate duties and warrants disciplinary action under rules. The absentees have been directed to explain their position within four days, failing which action as warranted under rules will be initiated against them.
