Srinagar : Three houseboats were gutted in a fire accident on Monday afternoon in Dalgate area of Srinagar.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said fire started from a houseboat and engulfed adjoining houseboats and damaged three houseboats at Sai-Sadak Konikhan area of Dalgate this afternoon.
However, timely action of fire service team managed to douse the flames and put fire under control. The cause of the fire was not known yet.
Police has registered case and taken up investigation.
