Budgam, Dec 15 : In a shocking news, an elderly woman tried to end her life by taking an extreme step in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Tuesday.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said a 60-year-old woman (name withheld ) q resident of Soibugh tried to set herself ablaze at her residence on Tuesday afternoon.
However, family members soon after taken her to nearby hospital where from doctors reffered her to Srinagar medical institute for advanced treatment.
A police officer told Kashmir Despatch over the phone that a case in this regard has been registered and further investigation has been set into motion. The officer added that police is verifying in all angles what forces her to took such extreme step.
