Srinagar, March 10: Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party Electoral Board through Party’s Vice Presidents Vijay Bakaya and Usman Majid have declared Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhar as the President of the Apni Party for another two-year term.
The election results were officially communicated by the party’s office to various media outlets.
What makes this victory even more noteworthy is the fact that Bukhari won the election unchallenged, highlighting his popularity and support within the party.
Pertinently, this is the second Presidential election of the Apni Party, which was founded in 2020, and Bukhari’s second term as its President.
Speaking about his re-election, Bukhari has expressed his gratitude to the party members for their unwavering support and trust.
He also emphasized his commitment to the party’s goals and vision, stating that his last term as the Party President will focus on further strengthening the party’s foundation and expanding its reach across Jammu and Kashmir.
Moreover, Bukhari has already made it clear that he will not contest another election for the post of President after this term. This decision is in line with the party’s constitution, which bars a member from serving as the President for more than two terms.
Apni Party has been actively working towards addressing the concerns and issues of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, and under Bukhari’s leadership, it has gained significant traction and support. With his re-election, the party is expected to continue its efforts to promote political engagement and development in the region.
It remains to be seen what the future holds for the party under his leadership, but there is no doubt that his experience and vision will be instrumental in achieving its goals.
