50 IFS officers from different states visit Wular Lake

Srinagar, May 15 : To learn about the restoration practices, 50 IFS officers belonging to different states visited Wular Lake to learn about the best management practices adopted by Wular Conservation and Management Authority in eco-restoration efforts of Wular lake.

WUCMA coordinator Irfan Rasool said that  the authority has been taking various measures to restore eco-tourism in Wular Lake. 

He said that so far the authorities have restored over 4 square kilometers of the Lake area. 

Now, authorities are mulling to restore more areas and the process on it is going on. 

Selfie Gazibos and sunset points have increased tourist footfall and restoration measures have been praised nation over.
