NCC Cadets received Rigorous Training at Gurez Army Attachment Camp

Gurez, May 23: The NCC (National Cadet Corps) cadets of Kashmir commenced their training at the Gurez Army Attachment Camp with an energetic Physical Training (PT) session at 0600h, marking the beginning of a challenging and eventful journey.

Led by the Commanding Officer (CO) of the 3 J&K NCC Battalion, the camp kicked off with an inspiring address, outlining the upcoming activities and urging the cadets to give their best efforts.

During the opening ceremony, all cadets solemnly took the customary oath of allegiance to the Nation, demonstrating their commitment to serve their country. The oath symbolized their dedication and readiness to undertake the demanding tasks ahead.

Following the ceremony, the cadets engaged in drill practice at 1200h, honing their precision and discipline. A well-deserved lunch break was provided at 1300h, providing nourishment to sustain the cadets through the intense training.

The afternoon continued with a firing practice session at 1500h, where the cadets had the opportunity to handle .22 rifles under supervision, enhancing their marksmanship skills and familiarizing themselves with firearms.

At 1700h, the cadets were introduced to the Tamam Transit Camp, where they would be accommodated during the duration of the camp. They received guidance on maintaining health and hygiene, emphasizing the importance of following prescribed drills and protocols to ensure the well-being of all participants.

With their enthusiasm and commitment, they are poised to excel in the days to come, embodying the spirit of the NCC and their dedication to the nation’s service.
