AWANTIPORA, July 4: The Islamic University of Science & Technology in Awantipora area of South Kashmir on Tuesday held an interactive session with the graduate student ambassadors of King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals Saudi Arabia, which was attended by students and staff members.
The event began with University Tarana, while the welcome address was given by Incharge Officer, International Affairs, Dr Monisa Qadiri. VC of the University, Prof. Shakeel Ahmad Romshoo attended the programme as Chief Guest.
On the occasion, Graduate Student Ambassadors of King Fahad University introduced the fully funded graduate studies scholarship, and asked participants to avail it.
Talking to media, one of the student ambassadors has said that there are lot of opportunities available for Kashmiri students outside, which need to be availed by the aspirants.
He said that conducting programme at Islamic University of Science & Technology Awantipora helped students in getting awareness about many opportunities, including fully funded scholarship.
Meanwhile, Dr Monisa Qadiri has said that University is making all the efforts to give benefits to students pertaining to admission opportunities at abroad universities.
She said that King Fahad university is a globally recognised university, wherein students can avail career opportunities, particularly fully funded scholarship. University’s Dean Outreach, Prof. Lilly Want, & Dean Academic Affairs, Prof. Manzoor Ahmad Malik were also present during the session.
