Srinagar, July 17 : In a major development, the Jammu and Kashmir government has taken stern action against three officers allegedly involved in activities related to militancy. The terminated officers include the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Kashmir University, an officer from the Revenue Department, and a Police Constable from the state.
Sources told Kashmir Despatch that these officers have been accused of working in collaboration with Pakistan-based militants, providing them with logistical support, and even raising finances for militant activities. The government’s decision to terminate their services underscores its commitment to maintaining peace and security in the region.
Sources further added that authorities are conducting further investigations to uncover any potential networks that these individuals may have been associated with.
