On the occasion of the fourth anniversary of Article 370, the residents of Machil village in Kashmir have reason to celebrate. The village, which had never had a mobile tower before, received an Airtel tower as a gift from the administration.
This marks a significant step forward for the village’s communication infrastructure, which has been lacking for years.
The villagers were overjoyed at the news and expressed their gratitude to DC Kupwara for making it happen.
They consider the installation of the tower a real joy, which will make communication and internet access possible for them.
This is a particularly important development for people who rely on mobile phones to stay in touch with their families or access online services.
The newly commissioned Airtel tower is located along the line of control T-Chuntiwari and will start functioning within a few days, according to Shoib Mohammad Bhat, Cluster Manager Airtel.
The fibre work on the other three Airtel towers at Thali, Dudi, and Chuntiwara-bala is almost complete as well, providing further opportunities for improved communication infrastructure in the region.
The installation of the Airtel tower in Machil village is seen as a significant step forward and a cause for celebration as India marks four years since Article 370 was revoked.
