Bandipora Aug 06:- The last rites of soldier Waseem Ahmad in Bandipora district, who was killed in an encounter with militants in Kulgam district of South Kashmir on Friday, were performed with full military honours at his hometown on Sunday.
The wreath-laying ceremony was attended by Jammu and Kashmir police, the Army’s 144 RR, 26 Assam units, and the CRPF’s 3rd Bn in his native village of Dachigam Bandipora.
Apart from security forces, hundreds of people participated in the last rites of Waseem.
