Pulwama, September 29: In a remarkable achievement, Dr. Tauseef Ahmad Parray, an Assistant Professor of Islamic Studies in Jammu and Kashmir’s Higher Education Department (JK-HED), has authored a book titled “Islam and Democracy in the 21st Century,” published by Oxford University Press (OUP) India. Hailing from South Kashmir’s Tral area in Pulwama district, Dr. Parray has earned recognition as one of the youngest academicians in Jammu and Kashmir to have a book published by OUP.
Dr. Parray’s book delves into the intricate relationship between Islam and democracy, offering insightful discussions on contemporary debates within this context.
