Division of Agriculture Extension & Communication, Faculty of Agriculture Wadura , Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology of Kashmir organized one day awareness programme on “Strengthening Agripreneurship & management of startup in Agriculture and allied sectors” sponsored by MSME in collaboration with Makhdoomi Fed Farmer Producer Company Ltd at Waterkhani, Kupwara.
The programme was aimed at empowering farmers and professionals in the agricultural sector with the tools and knowledge to enhance their entrepreneurial skills and excel in their field.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from a diverse range of attendees.
The programme was attended by Dr. Zahoor Ahmad Baba, Dr. Feroz Ahmad Parray and Dr. Q. J.A. Peer as the esteemed guests of the event. The CEO of the Makhdoomi Fed FPC, Miss Nuzhat also attended the event along with the student and farmer participants.
The coordinator of the programme, Dr. Quadri Javeed Ah. Peer, emphasized the significance of entrepreneurship in agriculture during his introductory remarks, following a warm welcome to the esteemed guests and participants.
During his lecture, Dr. Zahoor Ahmad Baba shed light on the incredible potential of vermicomposting, demonstrating to the eager participants just how they can reap substantial financial gains from this transformative activity. Dr. Feroz Ahmad Parray provided valuable insights into the effective nursery management of vegetable crops, enlightening the participants on various ways they can efficiently generate income through this endeavour.
Finally, the concluding remarks were delivered by Miss Nuzhat, who also expressed gratitude on behalf of everyone present.
