Kupwara, Nov 08 : Tawheed Ahmad Mir, JKAS, Tuesday assumed additional charge as Block Development Officer of Wavura block.
Mir, who is currently BDO Wavura, has been entrusted with the additional charge to look over Sogam after the previous BDO Arshid Hussain was transferred from the block.
Mir has dispensed his duties as Assistant Director Information, JDI Kashmir and also BDO as Tanghdar and Teetwal.
Meanwhile locals in the block also have welcomed the newly posted BDO and expressed hope that he will work the way his predecessor Mr. Arshid Hussain worked.
