Kulgam, Nov. 17 ; Two more militants have been killed in a night-long anti-militancy operation in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district toll reaches 5.
A top police officer told News Agency Kashmir Scroll that a total of five militants have been killed in the encounter, which is still ongoing.
He said the identity of the slain militants is yet to be ascertained.
On Thursday evening, on receiving specific intelligence inputs about the presence of militants in the Samno village, an exchange of firing was reported.
Sources told News Agency Kashmir Scroll that the whole area has been sealed by a mixture of forces, and all the entry and exit points are closed. (KS)
