Srinagar, Nov 17 : A militant was killed in an ongoing encounter in Behrote Budhal area of Rajouri district.
Reports reaching Kashmir Scroll said upon receipt of inputs about the presence of militants in Samnoo Behrote Budhal area, the security forces launched a cordon and search operation in the area.
The militants opened fire on the security forces, leading to an encounter.
In the initial exchange of gunfire, a militant has been killed so far.
A top police officer has confirmed to Kashmir Scroll about the killing of a militant in the ongoing encounter. (KS)
