Kupwara, Feb 04 : Police in northern Kashmir’s Kupwara district have apprehended two individuals who were involved in selling illegal drugs to youngsters in the area.
An official said that two drug peddlers were arrested in Kupwara following a tip-off that they were actively involved in selling drugs to youngsters in the town area.
The Kupwara Police Station apprehended Ghulam Nabi Malla from Maidanpora and Anzer Ahad Khan from Hyhama in separate cases. They were caught in possession of brown sugar, which they intended to sell to the youth and locals of Kupwara the official added.
The notorious drug peddlers are currently in police custody, and the police express their gratitude to the anonymous locals who provided the valuable information he further added.
