Army recovers old AGL granade, defuses in Poonch

Poonch, Feb. 14 : Army on Wednesday recovered one old AGL grenade along the line of control (LOC) in the Mendhar area of Poonch district.

An official told News Agency Kashmir Scroll that during patrolling in the Balnoi area, which is near the line of control (LOC) in Poonch district, army soldiers recovered one old AGL grenade.

The official said that immediately a bomb disposal team was called, but later the team defused it.

The official further said that no loss of life or injury was reported.

Meanwhile, police took cognizance of this incident. (KS)
