In a heartwarming incident, Sopore Police displayed their dedication and compassion by rescuing a pregnant woman from the remote area of Zethan in Dangiwacha amidst heavy snowfall. The prompt response from the police department ensured the safe evacuation of the woman to the Primary Health Center (PHC) in Dangiwacha.
The incident unfolded when Shamshad Ahmad Mir, a resident of Zethan, urgently requested assistance from the police for the medical evacuation of his wife, who was in critical condition due to her pregnancy. The adverse weather conditions made transportation extremely challenging, as the road was completely blocked by heavy snowfall.
However, undeterred by the adverse conditions, the Sopore Police sprung into action. Led by SHO Dangiwacha, Inspector Jan Mohammad, a well-equipped rescue team was immediately dispatched to the location. Despite the treacherous road conditions, the team persevered and successfully reached the distressed family in time.
