Srinagar, Mar. 04 : A BSc Radiology student from Kashmir allegedly committed suicide in Punjab district.
Sources told Kashmir Despatch that a young student of South Kashmir’s Tral was studying in the 6th semester of BSc Radiology at Desh Bhagat University in Punjab, took his own life on the campus.
Meanwhile, In a post on X, the Jammu and Kashmir Students Association stated that Kashmiri student Zahid Ahmad from Tral, Pulwama, studying at DBU University Punjab, attempted suicide. The family has been informed.
The Punjab team is coordinating with authorities to repatriate the body back from Punjab for the last rites.
The deceased was in the 6th semester of BSc Radiology at Desh Bhagat University Punjab, and preliminary investigations suggest suicide.
Punjab Police officials have contacted the family, and the matter is under investigation, as informed by JKSA Coordinator.
