Srinagar, June 13 : Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha extended his heartfelt congratulations to all students who successfully cleared the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) Class 10 Annual Regular Examination 2024.
In a message, LG Sinha expressed his delight at the exceptional performance of female students in the exams.
“Congratulations to all students who cleared JKBOSE Class Xth Annual Regular Examination-2024. Heartening to note that girls have performed exceptionally well. I appreciate teachers & parents for their support & dedication. Best wishes to students for your future endeavors,” Sinha remarked.
The JKBOSE announced the results on Thursday, revealing an overall pass rate of 79.25 percent. Female students outperformed their male counterparts with a pass rate of 81.10 percent, compared to 77.33 percent for male students, according to board officials.
The impressive performance by girls underscores the growing strides in female education in the region.
