SRINAGAR, Aug 01: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo on Thursday said that it is a great sign to see Kashmir’s old connection with Bollywood back.
As per the Kashmir Despatch Correspondent, Dulloo, in his address at the JK Film Conclave at SKICC, said that Kashmir has had a great old relationship with Bollywood movies and it is a positive sign to see the connection again.
He said that in the past, all Bollywood movies used to be incomplete without having a Kashmir component. However, the situation changed, and now the positive scenario is helping to restore that old, long connection with the Bollywood industry.
Dulloo said that efforts are underway to strengthen the connection with Bollywood, so that Kashmir can once again become a famous film destination, and it will also help local artists to get a platform.
Speaking about the “Single Window Portal” initiative, he said that it will not only help filmmakers to access resources easily, but will also encourage them to shoot more movies in this region, which will automatically generate employment opportunities for the locals.
