“Apni party is ready to contest assembly elections”

Bandipora, Aug 08:- The Apni party President Syed Altaf Bukhari on Thursday in Bandipora said that leaders can change their party according to their will, and it is their right. The party welcomes their decisions.
Speaking with the reporters after paying obeisance at the Zyaret Shareef of Sayeed Gh Rasool Shah, popularly known as Nanga Baji, in Malangam, Bandipora, Altaf Bukhari said that the party expects the announcement of assembly elections from the Election Commission of India team, who are on a two-day visit to the Kashmir valley.
He also said that the party will take part in the upcoming election, and those leaving the party will not affect the party.
Replying to a query that all party workers have resigned from the party, he said that the district president of the Apni party will continuously lead the party in Bandipora.
He was accompanied by senior Apni party leader and former MLA Gh Hassan Mir and other senior leaders of the party, who also paid obeisance at the Ziyarat shareef.
“We prayed for peace and rainfall at the Ziyarat shareef,” he added.
