Sopore: Burglars targeted the Sopore Law College in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district earlier this week and carried out a major heist, stealing a significant amount of construction material from the premises.
According to reports, on the night of August 29th, the thieves broke into the college campus and stole around 90 quintals of iron. The materials were kept there for the institution’s ongoing development projects.
College authorities have claimed that they have filed an FIR (First Information Report) at the concerned police station, but so far, no substantial progress has been reported in the case.
A police officer has confirmed the theft incident and stated that an investigation has been initiated to track down the culprits and recover the stolen iron. “We have registered the FIR, and our teams are working to solve this case at the earliest,” the officer said.
