Says Er. has been Assigned a Role to divide people

Baramulla, Sep 23: National Conference leader and contesting candidate for the Baramulla assembly seat, Javid Hassan Baigh, stated that Er Rashid is the best actor as he is playing his assigned role very well.
Talking exclusively with Kashmir Despatch, Javid Hassan Baigh said that Er Rashid has always been a political activist, and his political affiliation has been through drama. He is playing a good role that has been assigned to him by the Centre.
Javid Hassan Baigh said that Er Rashid is compelled to do this drama, as he has been given this role. He said he understands that if the best performer in India has Er Rashid’s name written in his credentials, it would not be a problem, as he is a very good actor. However, the directors who have assigned him this role will realize that creating a narrative is easy, but undoing this narrative later is very difficult.
Javid Hassan Baigh further said that Kashmir has gone through a very difficult and arduous journey, and now such dramas and films should not be made that further divide the people of Kashmir.
He appealed to the Government of India to conduct free and fair elections in Jammu and Kashmir, and not resort to the kind of politics seen in Pakistan.
Baigh, stated that those who attack National Conference party through different ways are actually people of BJP, and their political fate will be very bad, and they will be exposed badly. He added that efforts are being made to weaken the National Conference, but in this era, it is not possible to harm the party.
The nephew of former deputy CM Muzaffar Baig, the former legislator represented the Baramulla assembly constituency from 2014 to 2018.
After the abrogation of Article 370 in 2019, Baig switched to Altaf Bukhari’s Apni Party. He was part of the delegation that met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah along with Bukhari, which was the first outreach of Kashmiri leadership to the Centre after the abrogation of Article 370. However, Baig could not carve out a niche for himself in the Apni Party and quit last year.
In March this year, Baig joined the National Conference.
