Says Beig proved his credibility; lauds his contributions
Baramulla, Sep 30 : Ahead of the final phase of assembly elections a Sikh leader Amanjeet Singh has extended his community’s support to former deputy chief minister Muzaffar Hussain Baig who is contesting from Baramulla assembly seat.
Holding a presser in Baramulla, Singh said that Beig played pivotal role during his tenure as Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister, particularly noting the proposal of 35 employment opportunities specifically for the Sikh community
He praised the former chief minister’s efforts in uplifting the region, stating, whatever Baramulla has witnessed in developmental terms, it was Muzafar Beig’s vision and work.
Singh also recognized the efforts of Safina Beig, Muzafar Beig’s wife and former District Development Council (DDC) Chairperson of Baramulla, for fulfilling the expectations of the Sikh community as well as the broader population of Baramulla.
“A leader must prove their credibility and Muzafar Beig has done so. His strong connection with the community over the years has led us to extend our full support to him in this election,” Singh added.
It’s worth mentioning, that the region is going to witness the polling for the third phase (final phase) of the assembly elections tomorrow.
