In collaboration with AIIMS Bathinda, Guru Gobind Singh College of Management and Technology in Gidderbaha successfully organized a Blood Donation Camp.
During the event, thirty units of blood were donated, representing a significant contribution to the cause of saving lives.
The camp was inaugurated by S. Raghuveer Singh Mann, Assistant Director of Youth Services for Sri Muktsar Sahib and Bathinda. His presence, along with that of Col. Sudhanshu Arya (Retd.), Director of the Guru Gobind Singh Group of Institutions, and Dr. R.K. Uppal, Principal of the college, underscored the importance of the event.
All blood donors received refreshments and Certificates of Appreciation from the AIIMS Bathinda team. The smooth conduct of the donation process was assured by Dr. Richa Mishra, Dr. Manvinder Singh, and their dedicated medical staff. Dr. Uppal presented a Letter of Appreciation to the entire medical team from AIIMS Bathinda in recognition of their unwavering support and contributions.
Such initiatives foster a sense of community service and social responsibility among students and staff, Dr. Uppal remarked. This successful event stands as a testament to the college’s commitment to promoting health awareness and contributing to social welfare, while also encouraging a culture of selflessness and civic engagement among youth.
