Pattan, 17 Dec: The 2nd battalion of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), pattan on tuesday , launched free computer training program for 40 students under a civic action programme at Pattan.
As per the details, the Commandent of 2nd Battalion, SSB Pattan, Shri Asheesh Naithani inaugurated the programme under which free computer training would be imparted to local students of primary and high schools of the area.
Speaking on the occasion, Asheesh Naithani said that in addition to the computer training programme, the SSB intended to carry out a tree plantation drive, sports activities, recruitment awareness and start other skill development programmes for students living in rural areas of Pattan block.
“This programme would motivate students and help them learn computer skill fast which has become more relevant these days when educational courses are being taught online to students through computers,” he said.
The initiative of the SSB is aimed at establishing a sense of security and brotherhood among local people, he added.
