SRINAGAR, Jan 7: Syed Basharat, Editor-in-Chief of Kashmir Despatch, has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the untimely demise of Imad Tahir, the son of Tahir Ajaz, JKAS, Additional Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat. The tragic incident occurred at their Srinagar residence. Imad, a Class 10 student, was a promising young boy whose loss has left his family and friends devastated.
In a heartfelt condolence message, Syed Basharat conveyed his deepest sympathies to Tahir Ajaz and his bereaved family. “The sudden loss of such a young and bright soul is an unfathomable tragedy. The news of Imad’s demise has also drawn condolences from various quarters, including Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, who expressed his profound sorrow and assured the family of his solidarity and support. “The untimely passing of Imad has left me at a loss for words. I can only pray for the family’s strength and forbearance to cope with this devastating tragedy,” he said in his condolence message.
The entire staff of the Chief Minister’s Secretariat has also joined in extending their heartfelt sympathies, praying for the departed soul’s eternal peace and offering their support to the grieving family.
