DSEK, SBI distribute bicycles among students

Initiative aimed to encourage deserving students to do better in future: DSEK


SRINAGAR, APRIL 15: Under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), State Bank of India and Directorate of School Education Kashmir today distributed free bicycles to meritorious students from different districts of Kashmir Division, who have excelled in the academics or sports belonging to economically weaker sections.


The distribution of bicycles was held in a function, held today at Girls Higher Secondary School Kothibagh Srinagar where Director School Education Kashmir (DSEK), Dr. G.N. Itoo was present as the chief guest.


Speaking on the occasion, Director School Education said that the Department will continue its efforts at all levels to provide various facilities to all the students across the Kashmir division.


Director was accompanied by Joint Director Central, Syed Shabir Ahmad and other officers from State Bank of India.
