Baramulla, April 17: A blood donation camp was organized today in Waripora, District Baramulla, in collaboration with the 176 Battalion of CRPF, Sub District Hospital Magam, and the Blood Centre of SKIMS Medical College and Hospital, Bemina.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from CRPF personnel, with around 50 individuals stepping forward to donate blood. A total of 50 blood units were collected during the camp, significantly strengthening the life-saving reserves at the blood bank.
The camp was efficiently organized and managed by Dr. Mohd Suhail Malik, Head of Department, Blood Bank SKIMS MCH Bemina, along with his dedicated team. Dr. Zuhalla from SDH Magam also played a key role in the successful coordination of the event.
This initiative highlights the spirit of collaboration between healthcare institutions and security forces in serving public health needs and promoting the culture of voluntary blood donation.
