Srinagar, April 22 : In the wake of the horrific terrorist attack in Pahalgam that claimed the lives of innocent tourists, Air India has announced emergency travel measures to assist passengers amid heightened security concerns across the Kashmir Valley.
The airline will operate two additional flights from Srinagar on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, to help facilitate smoother departures for those seeking to leave the region:
Srinagar to Delhi – 11:30 AM
Srinagar to Mumbai – 12:00 Noon
Bookings for both flights are now open. Air India has also confirmed that all other scheduled services to and from Srinagar will operate as per routine.
Acknowledging the anxiety among travelers following the Pahalgam attack, the airline is offering complimentary rescheduling and full refunds on cancellations for all passengers with confirmed bookings to or from Srinagar until April 30, 2025.
“In consideration of the prevailing situation, we are waiving all change and cancellation fees for our flights to and from Srinagar until April 30,” Air India said in a public advisory.
