New Delhi, April 29 : A high-level security meeting commenced today at the Ministry of Home Affairs in the wake of the recent terror attack in Kashmir.
The meeting is being attended by Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan, along with the Director Generals of the Border Security Force (BSF), Assam Rifles, and National Security Guard (NSG).
Senior officials from the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) are also present.The agenda of the meeting is believed to include a review of the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir, intelligence coordination, and the ongoing counter-terror operations across the Valley.
This meeting comes a day before Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to chair the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS), which is expected to discuss further responses to the April 21 Pahalgam attack that killed 26 people, mostly tourists.
