Sopore, April 30: Very few students achieve such milestones at a young age, excelling in academics while also prioritizing religious knowledge.

One shining example is 17-year-old Jannat Shabir Rawa from Sopore, who secured the second position across the Kashmir Valley in the Class 12 examination, the results of which were declared on Wednesday.

A student at SRM Welkin Sopore, Jannat told Kashmir Despatch that she credits her success to her parents and teachers, particularly Chairperson Baseema Aijaz, for shaping her into the person she is today.

She stated, “My biggest inspirations are my mother and father, both of whom are doctors by profession.”

Jannat mentioned, “Despite my mother’s demanding career, she never neglected her responsibilities as a homemaker. That always inspires me to follow in her footsteps.”

She revealed, “I never attended coaching centers; instead, I relied on online resources to enhance my knowledge. This approach helped me balance my studies, prayers, and aspirations.”

“Nothing is impossible. Stay focused, work hard, and success will follow,” she emphasized.

Jannat said, “Success requires discipline alongside hard work. With the support and love of my parents, an environment was created that allowed me to balance both effectively. Alhamdulillah, I am happy to achieve this great milestone.”

She elaborated, “Being a Hafiza (a female Quran memorizer) taught me discipline, time management, and the importance of avoiding distractions like social media. My focus was on maintaining consistency in my studies to reach this milestone.”

Jannat expressed, “Like my mother and my chairperson at the institution, who are both leading their fields with dedication, I also want to inspire others.”

“Being self-disciplined is very important in achieving any milestone. This is not only the end but the beginning, and I want to keep this momentum going so that in the future, I can inspire many around me who feel disheartened and are considering giving up.”

Speaking to Kashmir Despatch, SRM Welkin Sopore Chairperson Baseema Aijaz described it as a proud moment for the institution. She congratulated Jannat, stating that her achievement is a testament to the school’s commitment to excellence.

“At SRM Welkin, we prioritize quality education despite challenges. Jannat’s success reflects that dedication,” Baseema said.

She emphasized that the focus is on providing the best quality education, allowing students to differentiate themselves and choose a path to success for their bright careers.
