Baramulla, Aug 30: The inaugural edition of the Chinar Premier League (CPL) 2025 cricket tournament culminated successfully today at the Gen Bipin Rawat Stadium in Baramulla. Organized by the Chinar Corps, the event concluded on a high note, celebrated for its spirit of bonhomie, sportsmanship, and regional pride.
Marking a significant milestone in the region’s sporting calendar, this year’s tournament saw a record participation of 64 teams from across the Kashmir Valley. The scale and competitive nature of the event have firmly established the CPL as one of the most prominent and widely followed cricket tournaments in the area, inspiring the valley’s talented youth to pursue their sporting dreams.
The grand finale featured an intense contest between MLA Gym Khana and Ahmed Cricket Club. In a thrilling match, Ahmed Cricket Club emerged victorious, triumphing over MLA Gym Khana to lift the coveted CPL 2025 Trophy amidst rapturous applause. The winning team was awarded a cash prize of ₹2,00,000.
