Srinagar, Dec 17 (KNS): National Conference leader Khawaja Mohd Yaqoob has said that he will abide by the decision of the party’s (NC) high command on nomination of the candidate for Sangrama assembly constituency.
Confirming that Syed Basharat Bukhari the former Minister joining National Conference was also discussed with party president Omar Abdullah, Khawaja Yaqoob said “I was summoned by party president Omar Abdullah and I on my behalf assured him that any decision on naming the party candidate for coming assembly elections will be acceptable to me. Party General Secretary, District president and other leaders were also present on the occasion “. Meanwhile sources told KNS that a meeting of the basic units of the Sangrama constituency of National Conference has been convened in Wagoora tomorrow to discuss the issue of Basharat Bukhari joining National Conference.
