Srinagar, September 15: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Mr. Anshul Garg, on Monday said that while petrol stocks in the Valley are currently running short, the situation is expected to normalize within the next two days as supplies are being replenished.
He clarified that there is no shortage of diesel or LPG, with adequate stocks available to meet public demand.
The Divisional Commissioner further informed that restoration work on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway (NH-44) is going on in full swing to ensure smooth movement of essential commodities into the Valley.
Authorities have urged the public not to panic and to avoid unnecessary hoarding, assuring that supply lines are being actively restored.
