Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Association (JKTA), under the leadership of its Chairman, Mr. Shah Fayaz, has strongly called for an urgent revision of school timings across both rural and urban areas of the Kashmir division.
With temperatures dipping and daylight hours shrinking, the Association noted that the prevailing early school hours have become increasingly difficult for students and teachers alike.
JKTA Chairman, Mr. Shah Fayaz, said that the Association has already taken up the matter with the higher authorities, pressing for timely intervention in the larger interest of the student community and the teaching fraternity.
“Change in school timings is the need of the hour,” Mr. Shah Fayaz emphasized. “A rational adjustment will not only provide much-needed relief to students and teachers but will also help ensure better attendance and improved learning outcomes.”
