TAISURU, Oct 1: A special health camp under the Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan (SNSPA) was organized on Wednesday at PHC Panikhar under the supervision of Dr. Ghulam Hussain, Block Medical Officer, Taisuru.
The camp witnessed encouraging participation from the local community and was graced by the presence of Hon’ble former Executive Councillor Al Haj Syed Abbas Razvi, former Councillor Haji Ghulam Mohammad, and several elder citizens of the block.
Specialist doctors from CHC Sankoo extended their services at the camp, including Gynecologist Dr. Nasreen and Pediatrician Dr. Iftikhar. Medical officers from PHC Panikhar also played an active role, with Dr. Larine Fatima (Dental Surgeon) attending to dental issues, while Dr. Khujista (MO) and Dr. Mubashir (MO) managed the General OPD and Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) cases.
Welcoming the dignitaries and medical professionals, Dr. Ghulam Hussain extended traditional khataks as a mark of respect. A series of service stalls were established for the public, covering Gynaecology, Paediatrics, NCD, Ayushman Card generation, Ticket Counter, Patient Guidance, Radiology, Dispensary, Vaccination, and Laboratory facilities.
To enhance awareness, Shakil Zaki (Health Educator) delivered an informative session on various health-related issues. The awareness drive was well-received by the attendees.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Ghulam Hussain, BMO Taisuru, who expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the dignitaries, doctors, health staff, and the local community for their contribution in making the camp a success.
