The talented student filmmakers of DPS Srinagar have brought laurels to the school by winning first prize in the Student Short Film Competition at the Media Fest 2025 hosted by Green Valley Educational Institute. Competing among leading schools from across the Valley, this remarkable achievement marks a proud milestone for the school’s media and arts department.
The award-winning short film, screened on October 13, 2025, captivated the audience and jury alike with its impressive cinematic finesse. Judges praised the film for its perfect blend of technical excellence, creative storytelling, and emotional depth — a combination that left a lasting impact on viewers. This recognition stands as a testament to DPS Srinagar students’ ability to craft meaningful and visually compelling narratives through the digital medium.
The festival, themed “A Celebration of Imagination, Innovation, and Inspiration,” provided young creators a vibrant platform to express their artistic vision.
