Jammu Nov 04 : Director Information, Nitish Rajora, has expressed deep grief over the demise of veteran and accredited journalist Tariq Ahmad Bhat, terming his passing an irreparable loss to Kashmir’s journalistic fraternity.
In his condolence message, the Director Information said that Bhat was an Accredited Journalist with the Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), widely known for his professionalism, integrity, and commitment to ethical journalism. He added that Bhat’s demise has created a deep void in the media fraternity of Kashmir which cannot be filled easily.
The Director also conveyed his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
Meanwhile, the employees of the Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) also expressed profound sorrow over the passing of Tariq Ahmad Bhat. Recalling his long association with DIPR, they described him as a torchbearer for many budding journalists and a respected figure in the media community.
The employees extended their condolences to the bereaved family, praying for the highest place in Jannah for the departed soul and strength to the family to bear this irreparable loss.—(KNC)
