Srinagar, 22 Nov: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu & Kashmir convened an important organisational review meeting of the party’s Media Department at Party Headquarter J53 Jawahar Nagar Srinagar.
The meeting was presided over and Chaired by BJP State Co-Media Incharge J&K Advocate Sajid Yousuf Shah alongside Zaman Noor, Co-Convenor Media Department J&K and Co-Convenor BJP Media Relations Ishfaq Sofi.
The meeting was attended by BJP district Media Incharges, Coordinators and BJP Publicity teams.
The meeting focused on strengthening communication strategies, enhancing media outreach, and streamlining coordination across district and state-level media units. Key discussions centered on developing a comprehensive development communication strategy to highlight welfare schemes, infrastructure projects and developmental initiatives, with particular emphasis on tangible benefits reaching grassroots level including employment generation, education improvements and healthcare facilities.
Sajid Yousuf Shah conducted a detailed assessment of ongoing media activities, digital initiatives, public engagement patterns and coverage dynamics across print, electronic and social media platforms. Discussions also centered around improving rapid response mechanisms to address misinformation within 24 hours and ensuring timely dissemination of party viewpoints on key political and developmental issues.
Zaman Noor highlighted the crucial role of the Media Department as the party’s frontline communication arm and emphasised capacity-building, disciplined coordination and proactive engagement with journalists and media houses across the Kashmir valley.
The meeting also addressed youth engagement initiatives through communication channels, focusing on educational opportunities, entrepreneurship support, and skill development programs.
The meeting concluded with a set of actionable directives aimed at boosting efficiency, enhancing message delivery, and ensuring that the party’s narrative and achievements reach the public in a timely and effective manner.
