Srinagar, Nov 26: Director School Education Kashmir Naseer Ahmed Wani on Wednesday announced the formation of a task force to monitor schools for any violation of government regulations. He said district level committees have been constituted to ensure strict compliance with norms across educational institutions.
Speaking to reporters, Wani said the committees will verify adherence to rules and respond to any lapses brought to the department’s notice. He said all schools are required to teach NCERT textbooks and that any complaint in this regard will prompt government action.
The DSEK added that winter vacations for schools have already been announced in view of the prevailing cold weather conditions in the Valley.
