Directs timely physical, financial completion of all sanctioned developmental projects
SRINAGAR DECEMBER 03: To review the progress of the developmental works being executed under District Capex Budget 2025-26 in the District, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Akshay Labroo today chaired a comprehensive meeting of all District/Sectoral Officers here at Meeting Hall of the DC Office Complex.
Besides, Chief Planning Officer, Fayaz Ahmad Dar, Joint Commissioner SMC, Sajad Kawoosa the meeting was attended by Executive Engineers of R&B, PHE, KPDCL, SMC, Assistant Commissioner Panchayats, Block Development Officers, District/Sectoral Officers, Engineers and other concerned.
At the outset, the Deputy Commissioner took a detailed review of ongoing works taken up as well as new works allotted under District Capex Budget during financial year 2025-26.
On the occasion, the DC directed all line departments to accelerate the pace of works to ensure timely physical and financial completion of the developmental projects. He stressed the importance of regularly updating progress on the E-Nigrani Portal for effective monitoring and transparency. He further instructed departments to immediately start all remaining allotted works, keeping in view the limited working season.
The DC further called upon all Engineering divisions and concerned departments to intensify efforts to meet public expectations by achieving 100% completion of targets within stipulated timelines.
